Abstract: The Pathogenicity of six isolates of Sclerotium rolfsii on Sesbania sesban was evaluated by measuring culture growth rates, oxalic acid, mycelium dry weight and sclerotium dry weight production of each isolate. The effectiveness of four inoculation methods on Sesbania sesban with S.rolfsii were also compared. All the isolates used were equally virulent on all the plant species tested although there were slight differences between isolate 4 and the other isolates. Stem wounding was the best method of inoculating sesbania plants, followed by taproot inoculation method. Organic amendments increased biomass production in all the treatments compared to the sand treatment.
